Amazon has recently opened the new online Amazon MP3 download store.
Read a great review on Amazon MP3 by last 100 (a great blog that tracks digital lifestyles). Read about Amazon MP3 launch (September 25th...Northern Hemisphere time).
Some differences: the mp3 downloads are cheaper and you can play them on any MP3 player....not just an iPod.

I was really excited to see this from Amazon, better prices, DRM free, but, it seems you need a US account and location to purchase ... bummer! John Treloar
I know....they keep forgetting about the rest of us :(
