Skrbl (Beta) is a very cool free online tool. Just sign up and create a user and away you go with your Skrbl whiteboard.
You simply click anywhere on the whiteboard and type on the board (as you can see by the image on the left it takes a variety of languages). You easily move between freehand (pencil tool) and text tool.
For other Skrbl users you can collaboarate on a whiteboard...just give out the URL and have a Skrbl meeting online with anyone in the world. You can share files, show pictures from your desktop, or copy images from the web.
Classroom: another collaborative tool that students can use with global collaboration or local. Teachers planning various projects can also make great use out of this tool.
